| Andrew Richmond, Director |

Andrew Richmond has been the Director of the Rye Public Library since November, 2009. He was most recently the Assistant Director of the Kelley Library in Salem, NH, and is the former Director of the Nichols Memorial Library in Kingston, NH. Andy previously worked as the Manager of the Travel and Nature store in Exeter. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Plymouth State University and a Master of Library Science degree from the University of Rhode Island. Andy has roots in the area's arts community, and was an exhibiting artist at the Portsmouth Public Library Recycled Art Show, the Seacoast Science Center's Wet Paint fundraiser, and at our own Rye Public Library Paint on Alternative Surfaces Show. Andy lives in Portsmouth with his wife and three year old daughter. |
