TRANSPORTATION TO THE LIBRARY VIA THE SENIOR SERVE VAN Through the generous support of the Friends of the Rye Public Library transportation to the library is available for seniors on Monday afternoons via the Senior SERVE van. SEACOAST AREA CLUBS AND RESOURCES
Active Retirement Association - Seacoast residents 50 years or older can enjoy programs offered by the Active Retirement Association (ARA) an outreach service of the University of New Hampshire. The annual membership fee is $45 and includes lectures, discussion groups, interest sessions, and health related activities. Compass Care -
A nonprofit organization with a clear and unwavering focus: to enhance the health and quality of life of seniors and those who care for them. Their primary goal is to provide the support seniors need to continue living at home. Available programs include:

Rye Over 55 Club - This active local club holds monthly lunches in the Rye Congregational Church's Fellowship Hall. The Senior Citizens Center at Parrott Avenue Place - A multi-purpose community center for senior residents of Portsmouth and neighboring communities. Available services include a daily meal program, transportation for medical appointments, shopping, etc., health clinic sessions, social activities and outings. ServiceLink - "Established in 200, ServiceLink is a statewide network of locally administered community-based resources for seniors, adults with disabilities and their families. ServiceLink is a free information, referral, and assistance service, with local offices in 13 communities . . .
