Borrowing History is now available on patron accounts.
It is our priority to safeguard your privacy in regards to records of books and other materials you borrow.
Some of our patrons, however, have expressed the desire to have a log of their borrowing history available to them.
To fulfill this request, we have enabled our circulation system to record a borrowing log, on an individual basis, upon your request.
In default status, your account does not keep the log. If you’d like to begin doing so, please ask at the circulation desks. Your log will begin with the date you make your request. You may also request the log to be disabled or deleted at any time.
Your decision to activate a borrowing log does authorize the creation of records which could be acquired for investigation through subpoena, concurrent with the USA PATRIOT ACT. In our default mode, these records would not exist. The choice is yours to make if the records would be useful to you.
