Y-LA, the Rye Public Library Teen Advisory Board

meets monthly during the school year.

Y-LA will take a field trip to Barnes and Noble during the week of February vacation to purchase books for the Young Adult Collection.  If you'd like to join us, please call!

  Teens and older only!  Can you handle a movie marathon?  Have a Lord of the Rings costume?  Wear it an you could win a prize!  We're showing the three Platinum Series Special Extended Editions... great sound, nice clear flat screen.  Don't miss it!  Plus, great snacks.  What's not to love?

Did you know that Director Peter Jackson went back to the studio after the movies were released to incorporate "deleted" scenes so they would appear continuously during the film; that's why these films are three+ hours.
